Apple’s iPhone 8 To Be “All Glass”, No Home Button
Latest Apple leaks confirm “All Glass” iPhone and are tipped to come in 3 Sizes and they have ditched the home button entirely.
Apple, well-known for its design and is
consistently following the same design from the past two generation.
Just now we have seen Apple is modifying lots of changes in its
products. We have seen Apple ditching headphone jack in iPhone 7 and
that created lots of controversies.
However, Apple is still holding out
their best ideas for their upcoming iPhone model which would be Apple’s
10th Anniversary unit. It is still not clear whether it will be called
the iPhone 8 or it will be called something else. However, the next
iPhone from Apple will leave you in shock.
According to the rumors from one of the
most reliable sources for Apple Leaks, Nikkei suggests that the next
iPhone most probably iPhone 8 will sport an all-glass back and will be
available in three different sizes i.e. with 4.7inch, 5-inch, and
5.5-inch displays.
The phone will have front entirely made
up of glass as well as the back, and a metal frame will hold it
together. The source told the publication “Apple has tentatively decided
that all the 5.5-inch, 5-inch and 4.7-inch models will have glass
backs, departing from metal casings adopted by current iPhones, and Biel
and Lens are likely to be providing all the glass backs for the new
iPhones next year”
The reports also suggest that one of the
variants will sport an-edge-to-edge OLED display which will have little
or no bezel on the top and bottom whereas the other two variants will
sport LCD displays. Few rumors also suggest that Apple is expected to
remove the home button and will promote wireless charging technology.
